Sofia Bekir Fuente

Sofia graduated from the University of Western Australia with a bachelor’s degree, majoring in Engineering Science, specialising in Environmental Engineering. She also completed a minor in Science Communication. She is currently working on completing her Masters of Professional Engineering at UWA, specialising in Environmental Engineering.

During her time at Urbaqua, Sofia has gained experience in urban water management, preparing documents to promote and educate about Water Sensitive Urban Design as well as reporting on water quality at a variety of sites. Additionally, Sofia has significant experience in environmental monitoring, including groundwater, waste water, surface water and soil sampling.
