Shelley Shepherd
Shelley Shepherd is our principal environmental planner. Shelley has significant experience in environmental planning, gained from working within State and Local Government and the private sector. She is a strong advocate for the creation of liveable communities that respond to environmental and climatic conditions.
Shelley is also an expert in collaborative strategy development, with specialised skills in facilitating group processes to create strategic plans that leverage collective intelligence. She is adept at fostering communication, aligning diverse stakeholders, and guiding teams through complex decision-making. She is an experienced facilitator and is able to communicate effectively with a wide range of parties including all levels of government and industry. Shelley is committed to developing innovative and effective strategies that have the buy-in and commitment of all involved parties.
Shelley is also the Program Manager of New WAter Ways – the Western Australian capacity building organisation for the delivery of water sensitive cities and water sensitive urban design. Shelley has access to a substantial network of experts, regulators and industry, which provides a valuable asset to the delivery of any project.
