Urbaqua is well known for its experience in facilitation, training, community engagement, and negotiating outcomes across a broad stakeholder group. Directors Shelley Shepherd, Helen Brookes and Rebecca Epworth have demonstrated their ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of parties, including all levels of government and industry.

They are all strong advocates for the ability of the land use planning system to deliver innovative development outcomes and liveable communities which respond to environmental and climatic conditions. This is exemplified by their lead roles in organisations such as New WAter Ways, Stormwater WA, and the Urban Development Institute of Australia (WA). Urbaqua have the capability and experience to deliver the following services:
