Rachel Murray

Rachel studied Environmental Engineering Honours at Murdoch University, working with Landcorp (now DevelopmentWA) to complete her thesis on construction waste management in Western Australia.

Rachel was also awarded the New Colombo Mobility Program Grant as part of her studies to fund a trip to Hangzhou, China to assist the students at Zhejiang A & F University with their research into heavy metal removal from water and soil. Throughout her degree she gained valuable professional experience, independent problem solving and data collection skills which have been further developed as a graduate.

Rachel is currently a Graduate Environmental Engineer at Urbaqua, with experience in writing water management plans for residential, commercial, industrial and rural developments of varying sizes. She also conducts surface water, groundwater and drinking water monitoring, and undertakes data analysis and writes associated monitoring reports.
