Water Sensitive Urban Design Asset Audit
Client: Shire of Augusta Margaret River
The Shire of Augusta Margaret River commissioned Urbaqua undertake an audit of the Shire’s priority water sensitive urban design (WSUD) located in a number of residential developments within the Shire of Augusta Margaret River.

This project audited the status of the WSUD assets in some older developments and in recently developed areas.
The objectives of the audit varied slightly from the original objectives, after discussions with the Shire staff the during the site visits. The ultimate objectives of this report are as follows;
- Provide initial audit results from the site visits.
- Provide a summary of the priority actions to be undertaken for each asset.
- Provide a general Maintenance Guide with ‘maintenance priorities’ based on risk.
- Provide a risk matrix of all the sites assessed and prioritise the sites based on risk.
- Provide recommendations to aid the Shire in assessing the maintenance requirements of WSUD assets before handover, and in scheduling/ assessing the requirements to account for in the maintenance schedule post handover.
