Canning City Centre Local Water Management Strategy

Development of a local water management strategy for the City Centre Area revitalisation that responded to changing priorities and opportunities as they arose. The report outlined the water management strategies proposed to manage and used the water resources and related environmental infrastructure that responded to changing environmental and community needs.

Wharf Street Next Generation Community Park

Preparation of successful grant application for $1.1m in Smart Cities funding including significant input into scoping the project and opportunity.

Urbaqua also undertook project management, hydraulic and environmental assessment and design for delivery of the new “smart-park” on the site of an existing drainage basin in Cannington in partnership with the Water Corporation and Department of Water and Environmental Regulation and funded by the Commonwealth Government.

The project has won numerous awards and is now highly regarded by the City and community.
