Cannington Swamp TEC Hydrological Study & Management Plan

The study undertaken for City of Canning to assess the existing condition of the Cannington Swamp, which is recognised for its conservation values, containing a threatened ecological community (TEC), and to determine the potential impacts (water levels/quality, groundwater flows/levels and biodiversity values) of construction of the proposed Southern Link Road Stage 3 and other infrastructure. Involved developing a Management Plan to identify the ongoing management requirements for the TEC and surrounding land and to facilitate allocation of appropriate management roles and responsibilities.
