Essential assistance at Peninsula Estate lakes, Maylands

Essential Environmental has been engaged by the City of Bayswater to help with them with their monitoring program at Lake Bungana, Lake Brearley and Brickworks Lake near the old brick kiln at Peninsula Estate, Maylands. The City has been responding the community concerns regarding public health and environmental impacts of algal blooms at the lakes by undertaking an intensive year long monitoring program.  Essential Environmental has been assisting in reviewing the program and associated water and sediment quality results. Essential will use this information to recommend short and long-term management options to improve the environmental health of the lakes. The program is scheduled to be complete by July 2016.
