2013 is almost over! Happy xmas and new year from Essential Environmental
When and how did we get to the end of 2013? Well, apparently we have and our first year of The Essential Current has seen us publish over 20 articles for your information and pleasure!
To celebrate our professional feats for the year (numerous coastal risk assessments, urban water management plans, foreshore management plans, a groundwater model, and a State of Environment report for the Pilbara region to name but a few…) as well as celebrate the upcoming holidays, someone let the Essential Environmental team out of their office and loose on the streets of Perth for a night!
Annual Christmas party shenanigans began with strawberry dacquiris at the Barrack St Jetty before a lovely ferry ride took us across the mighty Swan to deposit us at the Windsor Hotel in South Perth for a rowdy luncheon.
- Strawberry dacquiris at the jetty
- Partners in crime (and environmental planning & water management)
- Mischief, much?
- The mighty Swan River
- Post-popcorn fight
The team managed to catch the last ferry back to the shores of the CBD for a night tour of Brookfield Plaza’s numerous entertaining establishments before we all eventually got ourselves home in one piece. All in all, it was a wonderful and joyous affair which may or may not have ended in popcorn fights while drinking delicious beverages out of tea cups and tea pots.
It has definitely been a big year this year and the Essential Environmental team would like to thank our clients, colleagues, friends, and family for all their support in 2013.
We hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and happy New Year, and please stay safe over the holidays. Looking forward to bringing you more of our stories and ideas in 2014!
